Michigan State Spartans Ceiling Fans

“Sparty” is the nickname for the Spartans of Michigan State University, located in East Lansing, Michigan. The school, which is 90 miles west of Detroit, is the home to some of the greatest basketball teams in NCAA history. This includes the 1979 men’s basketball team that featured Earvin “Magic” Johnson, who won the national championship 75-64 over an Indiana State Sycamores squad led by another future Hall of Famer, Larry Bird. In addition to the school’s prowess on the basketball court (winning again in 2000), the Spartans have also earned four Rose Bowl and six national championships in college football.
